Saudi – Sheikh Saleh Al-Sheiba” has passed away. Sheikh Saleh Al-Sheiba, the owner of the keys of the Kaaba and the 109th successor of Uthman bin Talha, may Allah be pleased with him, has passed away. Funeral prayers were offered in Masjid al-Haram today (15th Dhul-Hijjah 1445) after Fajr and the burial took place in Jannat-ul-Awla cemetery in Makkah. May Allah forgive Him. _During the conquest of Makkah in the era of the Prophet ﷺ, when the Prophet ﷺ was given the keys of the Kaaba, instead of keeping these keys Himself, he returned them to Uthman bin Talhah of the Bani Shaiba family who held the keys and since then until now. The Key of the Kaaba has been with the same family from generation to generation._
